Somerset County: Rose Day Festival

Saturday, June 6, 2026, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden, Colonial Park, 156 Mettlers Road

There is no more beautiful way to kick off summer in Somerset County than with Rose Day. This floral festival will offer thousands of roses in bloom and one of the most scenic backdrops in the area. Beyond the garden, the day includes live music, artisan vendors, food trucks, and activities for children, so there is plenty to enjoy even after you have stopped to admire the flowers. Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and plan to stay awhile. It is an easy, relaxed outing that feels like summer from the moment you arrive.

Celebrate America's 250th at Somerset County’s Independence Day Celebration. Held at North Branch Park, the event provides all of the July 4th classics, with live entertainment, plenty of food options, and, of course, a big fireworks display to top off the night.
