Building a new house isn’t easy. It’s an involved process with a lot of “moving parts.” Building a dream home, however, is even more of a challenge. And yet, that’s what brothers Scott and Todd Van Cleef of Country Classics have been doing since 1988—helping more than 1,000 homeowners enjoy the house of their dreams.

Whether you’re looking for a single-family home — an apartment you love in a convenient location —fulfilling your dream of having the perfect home is important. Scott and Todd agree that there is a tangible value in watching families grow up and enjoy their lives in homes Country Classics has built for them.

What’s the secret to delighting so many families for so many years? First of all, Country Classics listens to their customers! Before constructing the second building in one of our previous communities, Legacy at Readington, Country Classics viewed surveys and customer feedback on what they would change about the floor plans in Building 1.  The company made numerous positive changes in response to the public opinion. These changes were meant to specifically cater to the buyers interested in the community. Legacy at Readington’s Sales Manager commented on the changes to floor plans and construction, saying “Our attention to detail and listening to the active-adult needs has been an added bonus of making our community successful. How many builders do you know that listen to their customers and go back and alter their floor plans?  Not many, but we do, and it’s been a huge success!”

In addition to listening and learning, both Scott and Todd hold Bachelors Degrees in Business & Economics from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, while Scott also received a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development & Finance from New York University. But there’s a lot more than just education involved.

As owners of a family business, Scott and Todd understand how the specific needs and desires of individual homebuyers can vary greatly.  From the beginning they have been committed to listening to what homeowners want—and then delivering more luxury, more comfort, and more convenience than any builder in the area. To do that has meant adapting their outstanding craftsmanship and experience to the individual dreams and desires of their customers.

“Anyone can build a house, but it’s the details that make a difference.” At Country Classics, we are committed to this statement. It’s this attitude that has helped Country Classics become one of New Jersey's premier family homebuilders since 1988. Don’t just trust our word for it! You can check out our exceptional ratings on Guild Quality. As of March 2015, 90% of our customers who reviewed us would recommend our services. We have also achieved an exceptional 4.5 star rating!

Country Classics is committed to building superior homes in inviting neighborhoods—and to raising the standard of excellence in construction quality, design innovation, and outstanding value. That’s where Country Classics is headed in the future. We’d love to be a part of your family’s history, too!
