Hillsborough, NJ – Country Classics at Hillsborough, central New Jersey’s premier community of award-winning single-family homes, is now SOLD OUT after 32 years. Since 1988, Country Classics has built 842 homes located in sought-after Hillsborough Township, conveniently located in the heart of Somerset County.

The classic collection of homes offered in Country Classics at Hillsborough consisted of 7 spectacular floor plans, starting at 3,220 sq. ft. on home sites ranging from a half-acre to 1 acre+. Homeowners in this prestigious neighborhood took advantage of the excellent Hillsborough Township school district as well as its serene, suburban setting.

“We are extremely proud of the outstanding community our company has built over three decades,” says Country Classics Vice President Scott Van Cleef. “It has been an honor to provide over 800 homeowners with the home of their dreams in a neighborhood where they will create lifelong memories with their families and friends. And, while the COVID-19 pandemic challenged our team this year more than ever, we were still able to complete this fine development and celebrate this important milestone in our company’s history.”

Current Projects
Owners (and brothers) Scott and Todd Van Cleef maintain the core beliefs that distinguish Country Classics as a builder offering uncompromised quality, personalized customer service, and dedication to details that reach far above their competition. The company recently released a new community, Country Classics at Scotch Plains, located in Union County, New Jersey. This unique enclave consists of just 7 single-family homes, with only two opportunities remaining! Each home includes 4 spacious bedrooms, 3.5 baths, an attached garage, a designer kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a finished basement, and more as standard included features. The highly acclaimed Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District serves the community, and the homes are priced from the $800,000s.

The company also unveiled its newest rental community, 745 Hamilton, earlier this year in Somerset, New Jersey. 745 Hamilton includes 1 and 2 bedroom luxury apartments in close proximity to downtown New Brunswick. The community features outstanding amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, in-unit laundry and balconies in every apartment, an elevator, upgraded kitchens with quartz countertops, and LVT flooring, to name a few. The 745 Hamilton team is proud to announce that the community is now fully leased.

Country Classics debuted its first rental property, Fairway 28, in early 2017. This award-winning community, located in Bridgewater, New Jersey, includes a total of 51 luxury apartments and a host of amenities. Inside each apartment are GE® stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, designer soft-close cabinetry, a full-size washer and dryer, and a balcony. The community also features a courtyard with a gas fireplace, grill and tot lot, a dog run and pet spa, a car washing station, as well as storage space and private garages for rent. There are currently 2 bedroom apartments available for rent at Fairway 28, starting at $2,215 per month.

Building for the Future
As the company nears 2021 and beyond, the Van Cleefs plan to continue their legacy of home building excellence with several new projects on the horizon.

The Country Classics team is currently working on a development in Frenchtown, New Jersey, which will include 19 single-family attached homes for sale (called Country Classics at Frenchtown), as well as 92 luxury apartments for rent (called Harrison Square). This much-anticipated community is located on Harrison Street, offering access to the adjacent towpath along the Delaware River. The company is also planning to build another rental community located on Route 206 in Montgomery Township, called The Somerset at Montgomery, consisting of 115 apartment homes. Other projects in the pipeline include an active adult community in Millstone Borough and a townhouse community in the Harlingen section of Montgomery Township.

“Todd and I would like to thank all of the homeowners, residents, trade partners, and employees who have supported us over the years and contributed to our success thus far,” says Scott Van Cleef. “We look forward to offering new, state-of-the-art rental and for-sale communities in desirable locations that will meet and exceed the needs of today’s home buyers and tenants.”
