Why Settle For Less in Your New Jersey Home?

You may have seen the Direct TV commercials about “the Settlers” who settle for old-fashioned cable instead of Direct TV. They’re pretty funny. But when it comes to choosing a new home in New Jersey, it’s no laughing matter to accept a house that’s “good” when having a better home is a real possibility.

How do you know if you’re settling for “good enough” when you could be moving into something far superior? Here are a few things worth considering as you evaluate your options for a new home in New Jersey.

  • Quality and craftsmanship. When you are weighing the possibilities for your new home, take a close look at the builder’s attention to detail. Little details can tell a big story. Do things fit and function like they should? If possible, drive by homes the builder has completed previously. Are they holding up well? Do they look as good after a year or two as when they were new? Does the builder have a reputation for quality?
  • Where you choose to live makes a huge difference in your quality of life. But location is about more than just convenience to work or shopping. Take a look at the community in which you’ll be living. Check out the quality of the schools. Is the community thriving? Are homes holding their value over time?
  • Some builders only offer very limited choices of floor plans. You either take what they offer or you go elsewhere. At Country Classics, we offer a range of great floor plans in both our Country Classics at Hillsborough and at our Fox Brook at Montgomerylocations. And in both locations, you can include extra options/additions in the floor plan to make your home fit your specific needs and tastes.

If you’re one of those people who believe“good is not good enough if better is a possibility,” we invite you to take a closer look at Country Classics for your New Jersey home.
